Monroe Community Mental Health Access Center

MCMHA front door The Access Center provides entry into the community mental health system. This part of the agency deals with residents of Monroe who are looking for mental health services, but are not yet being provided services. Their purpose is to triage and refer to the appropriate level of care. At times, callers may be referred to agencies within the community. The Access Center also provides crisis intervention to the community, as well as screenings for inpatient hospitalizations for Medicaid and Indigent residents of Monroe. You may reach the Access Center at (734) 243-7340.

When you have a patient who is open to the agency and working with a therapist, case manager, supports coordinator or psychiatrist, you should contact the assigned staff within MCMHA. If you are unable to reach that staff, the supervisor of the program should be contacted.
