Recipient Rights

Your rights The booklet entitled Your Rights When Receiving Mental Health Services in Michigan (Spanish or Arabic ) explains your rights as a consumer and summarizes Chapter 7 and 7a of the Michigan Mental Health Code. Copies of the booklet are available at our offices in English, Spanish, and Arabic.  The booklet is also available on audiotape. You will be given the opportunity to review this booklet at the time of your first visit, and you may request additional copies from the Recipient Rights Office.

If you have questions about your rights or have a complaint about the services provided by the Authority, you may request a complaint form or contact the Rights Office for discussion and/or assistance:
