Why did I want to be on the MCMHA Board?

I moved to Monroe County in 2017 after living in Ohio for my entire life. I’ve been welcomed into the community and enjoy being a part of it. Getting involved with the Monroe County Mental Health Authority as a board member is an important way to help improve the lives of fellow community members and to support the dedicated people that are working so hard in the field. It’s also a wonderful way to continue the process of putting down roots in Monroe County. I appreciate the opportunity to serve.

• I enjoy backyard vegetable and flower gardening, reading and collecting rare books about history, geography and anything interesting, studying natural healing methods, and most of all, spending time with family, friends and my rescued pets.
