We empower your professional development.
Trainings are available to service providers that are directly operated by MCMHA or a contracted provider agency. We provide several trainings to assist in providing quality services to individuals and family members working towards recovery.
Trainings are guided by the Medicaid manual provider qualifications, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services contracts (MDHHS), licensing requirements for various contracted services, and legislative requirements for all programs that are funded with federal and state-allocated funds.
In-Person Trainings
At MCMHA, we offer in-person trainings designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health care. These sessions provide hands-on learning experiences like:
- CPI Booster Training
- CPI Training
- CPR/FA Training
- Diabetes Insulin Training
- Medication Refresher Training
- Medication Testing

Online Trainings
Online trainings are available through the training portal of Community Mental Health Partnership of Southeast Michigan (CMHPSM), called LearnWorlds. These trainings are designed and built for CMHPSM-affiliated providers and provider staff persons. All trainings are available at no cost.
Hybrid Trainings
Medication Training and Medication Refresher Training are offered through Monroe Community Mental Health Authority to ensure that our staff are educated and prepared to safely pass medications to individuals served and living in our community.
As of January 1, 2024, the Medication and Medication Refresher Trainings are now hybrid. The Medication and Medication Refresher Trainings are available online, then enroll in GOSIGNMEUP for a testing session to complete the hybrid training. Select the training you are due to complete.
