MCMHA is offering a two-day class for our community, November 7th and 8th, 2024.
As a participant you will have the opportunity to learn skills to support people experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. This course is ideal for people in helping positions such as staff in homeless shelters, community centers, food banks, community service providers, adult educator institutions, libraries, police, firefighters, EMTs, and many other helping positions.
More than 3 million people in the U.S. have been trained to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges. Join the movement and become a Mental Health First Aider at our Mental Health First Aid for Adults training on November 7th and 8th, 2024 from 9 am – 4 pm (you must be present both days to receive certification), at 1001 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe, MI 48161.
