Provider Trainings

We empower your professional development.

Trainings are available to service providers that are directly operated by MCMHA or a contracted provider agency. We provide several trainings to assist in providing quality services to individuals and family members working towards recovery.

Trainings are guided by the Medicaid manual provider qualifications, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services contracts (MDHHS), licensing requirements for various contracted services, and legislative requirements for all programs that are funded with federal and state-allocated funds.

Hybrid Trainings

Medication Training is a hybrid training utilizing the CMHPSM Training Portal (Learnworlds) for Phase 1, in person with an MCMHA Nurse (GoSignMeUp) for Phase 2, and in person with the provider or self-directed services employer for Phase 3, to ensure that our staff are educated and prepared to safely pass medications to individuals served and living in our community.

As of May 1, 2025, the Medication Training curriculum has been updated.  Each Phase of the Medication Training is referenced, step by step, on how to achieve certification.
