Our team is here to help you find stability quickly, with timely assessments, personalized care, and connections to the right ongoing services.
Open Monday–Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the BHUC is designed with your well-being in mind.

At the BHUC, we focus on providing the immediate help you need in a safe and caring environment. Services include:
- Immediate assessment and evaluation
- Crisis intervention and stabilization
- Care coordination and referrals
- Medical assessment and screening
- Medication consultation
Who We Serve
The BHUC is open to anyone experiencing an urgent behavioral health need. There are no requirements for insurance, residency, or ability to pay. If you need help, you are welcome here.
Preparing for Your Visit
When you arrive, our receptionist will greet you and guide you through check-in. You’ll be taken to a comfortable consultation room where our staff will gather information to understand your needs. Before you leave, you’ll receive an aftercare plan and support connecting to ongoing services to help you continue on your path to recovery.
To help us provide the best care possible, we ask that you:
- Answer questions as honestly and completely as you can
- Bring a copy of your ID and insurance card (if you have one)
- Be prepared to share information about your current medications

When Should I Use MCMHA’s Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC)
The core purpose of a BHUC is to address urgent behavioral health needs and facilitate appropriate next steps in care. This generally includes: immediate assessment and evaluation, crisis intervention and stabilization, care coordination and referrals, and limited medication management.
